The majority of this farm has been owned by the Bowers Family for many years.
The farm currently has 109.88 acres cultivated with approximately 100 acres under the center Pivot. The farmed acres could increase with some clean-up, leveling and ditch removal. There are 18.6 acres of flood irrigated land in the southeast corner. The northwest corner has 27 acres currently in low land grass. (14 acres are under the pivot). The balance of this meadow has 13 acres that can be flood irrigated.
The neighboring family member has installed a center pivot and has decided to include his land in the sale. This pivot will be included in the sale! The Auction will be for all of the land to allow the Center Pivot to make a complete circle. This pivot was installed with 10 in. PVC underground to the pivot point. This allows 40 lbs. of pressure at the pump and increases to 60 lbs. of pressure at the pivot point. This results in substantial power savings for irrigation!
